Living in our world right now is messy and heavy. Feelings of heartbreak, fear, exhaustion, overwhelm, grief, and hopelessness are all around us and maybe even within us. Is it possible to honor those feelings AND live in gratitude, love, and joy? YES!!! Join Charity for The Power of Play, an interactive, experience-based workshop to lessen the heaviness you are carrying by tapping into your childlike playfulness to offer you more joy, light, energy, and LOVE! Shed layers in a safe, loving space, press the reset button on your happiness, release your inner child, and give yourself permission to experience a renewed sense of joy and playfulness in your life.
This is an all-accessible class that is for every BODY and EVERYbody! This is not a yoga specific based workshop, no yoga experience is needed, and this can all be done in a chair.
As adults we tend to lose our sense of authentic, unbridled play that we possessed as a child. Life gets serious. We experience trials and tribulations leaving us feeling heavy with less energy and patience. We become responsible for ourselves and others with “no time to play”. That’s why when we see a child playing it tends to make us smile. The innocence, love, and freedom…can we drop back into our joyful child again? YES!! When we want to get better at something we practice it. Join me to PRACTICE PLAY!!!
We will begin in the beautiful Salt Cave discovering what keeps you stuck in seriousness and offer a gentleness and softness around those discoveries. We will spend the majority of the workshop connecting to your inner child through PLAYFUL FUN!!

If being on a mat is not right for you, you may use a chair. **Please reach out and let me know if you’d like a chair so I can have it setup for you!
Yoga mat and props – Earth Salt Stone has yoga mats that will be laid out, bolsters, blocks, and blankets so you don’t need to buy them or bring them if you’d rather leave them at home. 😊
Dress in something comfortable that you can move in.
Please plan to arrive no later than 5:50pm EST to get comfortable and setup in the salt cave so we can start on time.
You will receive an email prior to the workshop with helpful information like what to wear, recommended/optional items and what to expect when you arrive!
Charity Haney will be leading this workshop. She is the owner of Soul’s Lighthouse, a safe space of healing from grief/pain. She has led this workshop both online as a 3-part series and in person as a 2-hour workshop. Finding a balance of joy and play while holding spaces for grief healing can be challenging. As someone who has to practice joy and play herself, she finds this workshop to be extremely important in difficult times to remind ourselves who we truly are by connecting back to our inner child. I am so excited to hold a SAFE space for you to break FREE from the wild world to CONNECT with your inner child. The little one who had TIMELESS days, CURIOSITY about everything, NO CARES about what others thought or were doing, and SMILED at simple joys!!! This little child is still within YOU and doesn’t care if you’ve not spoken in a long time. It’s time to INVITE them to play!
