Surrender Stress for Softness:  Roll 4 Relief

Stress?  Tension?  Pain?  Anxiety?  Shallow Breath?  You are not alone.

Join me in the stunning setting of a salt cave to connect with your body and surrender to softness rather than stress; love rather than resistance by focusing on releasing tension and stress in your front body.  You will use a soft Coregeous Ball, your breath, and guided myofascial release techniques to speak safely to your body with compassion, care, and to embody softness rather than stress, pain, etc.  Releasing fascia turns on the parasympathetic nervous system response; rest and digest.  Adding a focus of breath and surrender melts layers and layers of stress and tension!!!

This practice allows the opportunity for you to experience BIG relief and increased mobility EVERYWHERE in your body, especially your back.  Communicate with softness to your body rather than hardness.  Make more space for your lungs to breathe to allow more energy for life! 

Why the front body?  Our front body, the heart, belly, pelvis, ribs, throat etc, is often associated with shame, either ignored or obsessed over, and holds great tension.  Physically we sit so much that it can keep our front body contracted.  Our shoulders round forward, chest collapses, and belly crunches. This creates pain, tension, and more to our back body and constricts and stifles our breath.  Emotionally, a tight front body may not allow us to speak authentically.  We may feel stuck in life or afraid to be vulnerable and show our heart.

Helpful beacons:

  • No yoga experience is necessary.

  • If being on a mat is not right for you, you may use a chair. 

  • Dress comfortably. 

  • If you are pregnant, we will have a chair for you since this is a front body practice.  **Please reach out and let me know you are coming so I can have what you may need.

  • Please plan to arrive no later than 5:45pm EDT to get comfortable and setup in the salt cave so we can start on time.

Other recommended items for support might be:

  • Yoga mat and props – Earth Salt Stone has mats that will be laid out in the salt cave and props so if you don’t have a mat or would rather leave yours at home feel free.  😊

  • Journal

  • Socks, sweater, etc
