Our minds and bodies seem to be stuck in overdrive and in the doing and going.  Yoga Nidra, often times referred to as “yogic sleep”, allows us to release the gas pedal, slow things down, and allow our nervous system the rest it so desperately needs.  This practice is perfect for anyone seeking rest, balance, and inner peace.  

Yoga Nidra is a powerful, non-movement, guided meditation practice that is shown to help counteract the effects of trauma, PTSD, sleep disorders, anxiety, stress, depression, pain and many more ailments. 

No meditation or yoga experience is necessary, and you do not need a yoga mat or yoga clothes for this practice.  Dress comfortably, find a place where you feel safe and supported (bed, recliner chair, couch, floor), and give yourself permission to rest your body and mind.
