Mindful Movement Flow & Meditation – Virtual Pop-Up

Join me for a gentle, mindful movement flow class and connect to your unique body through breath and awareness.  Move in a way that feels free and good for you, flow with your breath, and release the things keeping you stuck in your day.  A yoga nidra meditation will then be shared to offer an opportunity to settle your mind, body, and heart into deeper presence through letting go.   

Accessible to ANYbody and any BODY regardless of experience or physical limitation (can be 100% done in a chair).

Event Offerings:

Mindful Movement Flow

  • An all levels, beginner and chair friendly, class that incorporates gentle, mindful movement unique to what YOUR body needs.  We will flow through the physical postures while incorporating a connected breath to bring a sensation of calmness, peace, and groundedness. 

Yoga Nidra Meditation

  • A powerful, non-movement meditation practice that has shown to help counteract the effects of trauma, grief, PTSD, sleep disorders, anxiety, stress, depression, pain and so many more ailments.  Our minds and bodies can be stuck in overdrive.  Yoga Nidra allows us to release the gas pedal and slow things down to settle into deep rest.

Helpful beacons:

  • No yoga experience is necessary.

  • Pre/postnatal friendly.

  • Modifications will be offered frequently. 

  • Find a place where you feel safe and supported.

  • Yoga mat and/or chair (preferably without arms).

  • Dress comfortably in something you can move in. 

Other recommended items for support might be:

  • Journal

  • Bolster or pillow

  • Blanket or large beach towel

  • Socks, sweater, etc for Yoga Nidra especially

Classes and events are guided by founder and owner of Soul’s Lighthouse, Charity Haney.  She is a certified grief educator and grief yoga® teacher, a retired Navy Veteran, a professional musician, a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and has personal experience with many forms of grief.  Learn more about Charity here.
